The first step is to call us, after talking with you over the phone we will arrange a time to visit you at your home or the home where items need cleared. Our consultation is free of charge, and you are under no obligation to hire our company.

This face-to-face meeting gives us a good idea of what your specific needs are,  whether it be having an estate sale, us taking items on consignment, possibly a buy-out or just having us clear everything out. This meeting also gives us a chance to do a walkthrough of the home or around your house to see what needs to be sold and a chance to review your specific situation. At that point we will decide together which avenue we will take. 

Every sale is unique, and we enjoy the challenge of coming up with a game plan together that meets your needs and maximizes results. If you like our proposal and decide to use our company, we will put our expert know-how and vast resources into motion to you give you the best service possible.

Once the plan and sale dates are set, we can start working on the house at your earliest convenience. We ask that before the consultation you please do NOT throw away or donate any of the estate's belongings. You never know what treasures you may have!

 

ESTATE/MOVE-OUT/DOWNSIZING SALES - Although each sale is different, the process is pretty much the same. We begin by sorting and organizing the contents of the house, during this stage we will also take pictures of items that require extra research. At this time, we also bring in tables, racks and other equipment to properly stage the house. Next, we price everything, take pictures, and advertise the sale on several different websites to reach as many potential buyers as possible (Estate Sale Finder, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace & our Facebook group) . Also, on the day of the sale we use our beautifully made signage to direct customers to the sale. At the end of each day of the sale and throughout the day we will reorganize the home to get the best visualization of all items left in the home to get more sold. The last day of the sale is typically ½ price day and can attract repeat buyers and help clear out the property. Most sales are typically 3 day sales. (Fri-Sun) Larger estates will sometimes need 4 days. (Thur-Sun) After the sale if you wish, we can conduct a full clean-out where unsold items are donated.  Within 5-10 days after the sale we will provide you with your final check and an accounting of the total income brought in and any extra expenses we may have had, either in person or by mail.

CONSIGNMENT - Consignment might be the option to go if you dont have a full house, don't want to have a sale or that amount of traffic through your home or really only have a few boxes to purge. We have used the Consignment option with clients that have nearly full houses and also only taken a few boxes from clients.

CLEAN-OUTS - Us doing a clean-out may be the best option for your situation if you are on a time crunch and there's just not enough time for us to prepare your home for a sale or if we're booked out past your deadline. We have the ability to do clean-outs within 24-48 hours after talking to you and coming up with a plan.
